• Free to Play: You may download and play MineArcane generated mods for free.
• Free to Share: You may host or mirror the original generated mod file for free if you credit MineArcane, link to the mod's official MineArcane page when one exists, link to this license, and keep the original file unmodified with its original name.
• Private Modifications: You may modify generated mods for your own personal, private, local gameplay or private server use. You may not publicly distribute modified, patched, translated, decompiled, reverse-engineered, repackaged, renamed, or otherwise altered versions unless they are created, exported, or expressly authorized through MineArcane.
• No Commercial Sale or Paywalls: You may not sell generated mods, include them in paid modpacks, run them on paid-access servers, or place them behind paywalls, forced account registration, or access gates that are not freely available to the public.
• Permitted Monetization: You may monetize videos, streams, tutorials, or written guides featuring generated mods. Creator payouts from modding platforms such as Modrinth, CurseForge, or Nexus are allowed if the generated mod itself remains free to access and download and this license is preserved.
• Revocation: If you violate this license, your permission to use, host, mirror, publish, or share the generated mod ends immediately.

Full License

This MineArcane Mod License governs the use, hosting, sharing, and distribution of Minecraft mods, source files, textures, data files, packaged JAR or ZIP files, public artifact pages, and related files generated through MineArcane ("Generated Mods"). By downloading, using, hosting, mirroring, sharing, publishing, or distributing a Generated Mod, you agree to this license.

This license does not grant rights to Minecraft, Mojang Studios, Microsoft, or any third-party content, brands, characters, names, artwork, code, music, logos, or trademarks.

1. Ownership

Generated Mods are owned by 上海棱郡实业有限公司, the operator of MineArcane, including associated intellectual property rights, subject to third-party rights and the rights you retain in prompts, uploads, and other original materials you submit.

MineArcane also retains ownership of the MineArcane service, platform code, reusable templates, generation workflows, brand assets, build infrastructure, and runtime components. When a Generated Mod includes MineArcane runtime, template, attribution, license, or proprietary files, you may use those components only as part of that Generated Mod and only under this license.

All rights not expressly granted in this license are reserved.

2. Free Use and Hosting

You may download and use Generated Mods free of charge for personal gameplay, private Minecraft worlds, and private servers.

You may host, mirror, or share the original Generated Mod file for free if you comply with the attribution and distribution requirements in this license.

3. Attribution and Link Requirements

Whenever a Generated Mod is hosted, mirrored, listed, or otherwise made available for download, you must:

• Clearly credit MineArcane in a visible location on the download page, listing, README, or description.
• Link to the Generated Mod's official MineArcane page when one exists.
• Link to this license page: https://minearcane.com/mod-license.
• Preserve the original filename, embedded attribution, license files, README files, copyright notices, and proprietary notices included with the Generated Mod.
• Include the same attribution and license links in any included README, description, listing, or metadata where reasonably possible.

4. Restrictions

You may not:

• Claim that you own the Generated Mod or any derivative work created from it.
• Claim that MineArcane, Mojang Studios, or Microsoft endorses you, your server, your modpack, your listing, or your Generated Mod.
• Sell, license, sublicense, rent, or otherwise charge for access to a Generated Mod, except as expressly allowed under Section 5.
• Include a Generated Mod in a paid modpack, paid bundle, premium server, paid server tier, subscription-only server, donation-gated server, or similar paid-access offering.
• Place a Generated Mod behind a paywall, forced account registration, private access gate, ad-locker, link shortener gate, or other barrier that prevents free public download.
• Remove, hide, or alter any MineArcane attribution, license, README, copyright, or proprietary notice.
• Use MineArcane, Generated Mods, or MineArcane outputs to train, clone, benchmark, or build a competing generation service without written permission.
• Use Generated Mods to distribute malware, credential stealers, hidden miners, destructive code, unauthorized telemetry, or other harmful software.
• Use Generated Mods in a way that infringes third-party copyrights, trademarks, brands, characters, games, movies, music, logos, artwork, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other protected rights.

5. Permitted Monetization

You may monetize:

• Videos, streams, tutorials, articles, guides, or educational content that features a Generated Mod, as long as the Generated Mod itself is not sold, paywalled, or restricted in violation of this license.
• Creator payouts on modding platforms such as Modrinth, CurseForge, Nexus, or similar platforms, as long as the Generated Mod remains free to access and download, this license is preserved, and the listing credits MineArcane with links to the Generated Mod's official MineArcane page when one exists and to this license.

All other monetization requires prior written permission from MineArcane.

6. Modifications for Private Use

You may modify a Generated Mod solely for your own personal, private, local gameplay or private server use.

You may not distribute, publish, upload, mirror, share, sell, sublicense, or otherwise make available any modified, patched, translated, decompiled, reverse-engineered, repackaged, renamed, or altered version of a Generated Mod unless that version is created, exported, or expressly authorized through MineArcane.

7. Configuration and Compatibility

You may create or use configuration files, settings, datapacks, resource packs, compatibility patches, translations, or add-ons that interoperate with a Generated Mod, provided that they:

• Do not include, copy, or redistribute MineArcane Generated Mod files, code, textures, models, runtime components, or other assets.
• Do not remove or bypass MineArcane attribution, license, or proprietary notices.
• Do not imply endorsement by MineArcane, Mojang Studios, or Microsoft.
• Do not violate this license, our Terms of Use, our Safety Policy, or third-party rights.

8. Distribution of Original Files

Any public distribution of a Generated Mod itself must use the original, unmodified file as provided or exported by MineArcane, with the original filename, license information, attribution notices, and embedded metadata preserved.

If MineArcane provides an official public artifact page for the Generated Mod, you should link users to that official page when practical.

9. Revocation

MineArcane may revoke this license for any user, account, project, listing, host, mirror, server, or entity that violates this license. Upon revocation, you must immediately stop using, hosting, mirroring, publishing, distributing, or making available the affected Generated Mod and remove hosted copies under your control.

10. Takedowns and Enforcement

If we receive a valid copyright, trademark, safety, or abuse report, or if we believe a Generated Mod violates this license, our Terms of Use, our Safety Policy, or third-party rights, we may remove content, disable downloads, restrict publication, suspend accounts, send takedown notices, or take other enforcement action.

Violation of this license may result in account termination, revoked permissions, takedown requests, removal from hosting platforms, and legal action where appropriate.

11. Disclaimer

Generated Mods are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. MineArcane does not guarantee that a Generated Mod is unique, error-free, safe, secure, compatible with every Minecraft setup, or free from third-party claims. Use Generated Mods at your own risk.
